Since 1989, generations of local children have taken their first steps towards school here. Many families return for their second and third child, or visit years later to tell us how their little ones are going at "big school." That longevity is not an accident. It comes from doing the fundamentals well, year after year: knowing every child by name, working in genuine partnership with families, and keeping the warmth of a small community at the heart of everything we do.
What guides us are our three Rs: Respect for ourselves, others and the environment; Responsibility to ourselves, others and the environment; and Resilience to persist with challenges and become strong in our wellbeing.
We are an independent preschool for children aged 3 to 5, and we have deliberately stayed small. With a single, open-plan environment and a close team of qualified educators, your child is known and valued personally, and individual needs can be met in a way larger centres find difficult. Older and younger children learn alongside one another, so friendships form naturally and older children grow in confidence by helping the younger ones.
We welcome families of all cultures, languages, faiths and backgrounds. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our preschool stands.
